The Australian Government provides financial assistance for companies undertaking industry research and development.

R & D Tax Concession

Under this tax concession companies can claim a deduction from their taxable income of $1.25 for every dollar spent on R & D activities. Companies must be registered with the Industry Research and Development Board in order to claim the concession.

Commercial Ready

‘Commercial Ready' is a competitive grant program administered by AusIndustry which provides grants from $50,000 to $5 million to Australian businesses researching, developing and/or commercialising new technology. Grants cover all industries and a wide range of activities and costs, from R&D right through to early commercialisation.
